The University of Glasgow is offering postgraduate taught scholarships for the academic year 2017-2018. These scholarships will be awarded to international students at the College of Science and Engineering.

A postgraduate degree can provide students with a platform for further research or enable them to develop high-level skills and advanced knowledge to further their career.

The University of Glasgow is the fourth-oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Scotland's four ancient universities.

If English is not student's first language, they will be required to provide a language test before they can start their studies.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing postgraduate programme.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded within the College of Science and Engineering.

Scholarship Award:

College of Science and Engineering Dean's Awards: £10,000

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme: The scholarship will cover the following: full tuition fees a monthly stipend travel costs thesis costs.

School of Geographical and Earth Sciences: £7,250

Scottish Funding Council -funded places: Full tuition fees

Scholarship can be taken in the UK

Eligibility:

College of Science and Engineering Dean's Awards: International, Brazil, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mauritius, Mexico

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme: International

School of Geographical and Earth Sciences: Home/EU

Scottish Funding Council -funded places: Scotland and EU

Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have an undergraduate degree.

English Language Requirement: If English is not first language, students will be required to provide a language test before they can start their studies.

How to Apply: Applicants will be automatically assessed for a scholarship based on academic merit. There is no separate application form required.
